The whole team was very nice. We mostly interacted with Nathan but you could tell the rest of the team was aware of the whole process. We had a very specific area that we were interested in and there weren’t many options available, so we gave them the specific streets and neighborhoods that we liked and they called homeowners and literally knocked on doors in those specific streets. They were able to produce some off market options for us.

Right Man for the Job

"The company that I had been working for unexpectedly went out of business and closed its doors. That is when we called Ryan with Anderson Homes. He came to our home after a quick presentation on all of the services that he would provide to us as our Realtor, it was clear that he was the right man for the job. The first thing that he did with us was take us around to other homes for sale in our neighborhood that were comparable to our own. This was a great tool that ultimately helped us decide how much to list our own home for. Next, he had us stage our home and as a result his advice paid off nicely for us as we received lots of good feedback from the ensuing showings. Our home was on the market less than two weeks and we were under contract! But that was really just the beginning. Several relatively minor items came up following the home inspection that we resolved relatively easily, and Ryan worked with us and the buyers every step of the way. Then we had a major problem come up with the house appraisal. Due to the struggling housing market, our house actually appraised for several thousand dollars less than our contracted selling price, We were all shocked (including the buyers), to say the least, and the buyers were ready to walk away unless we lowered the price. Ryan managed to arrange for a second appraisal. The appraiser who did the second appraisal told us that he very rarely does something like this, but because he respects Ryan so much, he was willing to do it. What a compliment! In the end, we managed to work out a deal with the buyers where we traded concessions for selling price and the impact on our bottom line was minimized. The final crisis arose the week before closing. The buyers were having trouble getting their financing approved. Once again, Ryan stepped up and was able to recommend some financing options that their own realtor was unaware of, and he saved the deal at the eleventh hour! We were simply blown away by the service provided by Ryan and the rest of his team. We were taken care of every step of the way. Buying or selling a home is proven to be one of the most stressful events that you will ever do in your life.
